Background: Republican Jobs is leading the search for an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join a nationally recognized plaintiff side Law firm. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to handle complex medical malpractice cases from start to finish while working alongside a mission driven legal team.
Roles & Duties
- Handle plaintiff-side medical malpractice cases from evaluation to resolution.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents independently.
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex medical malpractice claims.
- Advocate for clients during settlement negotiations and in court proceedings.
- Collaborate with legal teams to develop creative strategies for malpractice cases.
Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of medical malpractice litigation experience required.
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and handling discovery processes.
- Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills are essential.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on complex cases.
- Passion for representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice matters.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state(s) where the firm operates or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of two years of experience in medical malpractice litigation, preferably on the plaintiff side.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases independently, with a track record of successful case outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client representation and courtroom advocacy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to interpret medical records and expert testimony.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Commitment to client-centered advocacy and a passion for securing justice for victims of medical malpractice.
Compensation: Salary: $100-170k per year
