Roles/Duties:
- Provide legal guidance to senior leadership on a broad range of issues, including regulatory, administrative, and compliance matters.
- Oversee and manage the organization's legal department, including coordination with outside counsel as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly those related to public policy and governance.
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, policies, and other legal documents.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolution efforts.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategic approaches to mitigate potential legal challenges.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Job Requirements:
- Legal management and counsel: 5+ years
- Experience with regulatory and administrative law: 5 - 10 years
- Leadership and team management: 3 - 7 years
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal experience, including service as General Counsel or in a senior legal advisory role.
- Deep expertise in administrative law, regulatory frameworks, and public policy.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership.
- Proven track record in managing legal teams and overseeing complex legal matters.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
