Roles/Duties:
- Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through trial or settlement.
- Draft complaints, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence.
- Conduct legal research, analyze liability issues, and assess damages.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in depositions, hearings, and court.
- Collaborate with clients, medical providers, and litigation support teams.
- Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
Job Requirements:
Legal Experience:- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
- Demonstrated success handling cases from intake through settlement or trial
- Active law license in a U.S. state (preferably in a jurisdiction relevant to the firm's caseload)
- Good standing with all applicable bar associations
- Strong proficiency in legal research, motion practice, and drafting pleadings and discovery
- Prior experience conducting depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Proven ability to develop case strategies and effectively negotiate settlements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, legal writing, and advocacy
- Familiarity with case management software and remote communication tools
- Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage a high-volume remote caseload
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to show empathy while delivering strong advocacy
- Ability to collaborate with medical experts, litigation support teams, and other attorneys
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience.
- Proficiency in motion practice, case strategy, and legal drafting.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
- Empathetic, client-focused approach with a commitment to justice.
- Active law license in a U.S. jurisdiction relevant to the caseload.
Compensation and Benefits:
$100,000 – $170,000+ (commensurate with experience). Benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, Vision insurance
Schedule:
The Personal Injury Attorney will be expected to work full-time and may include occasional travel as needed.
