Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented FOIA Paralegal to support attorneys and clients in managing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FOIA procedures, compliance requirements, and demonstrated experience in drafting, submitting, and tracking FOIA requests.

Roles & Duties
- Prepare and submit FOIA requests to federal, state, and local agencies
- Track request progress, manage deadlines, and follow up with agencies as needed
- Review, organize, and analyze documents received from FOIA requests
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of requests and responses
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and document management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable FOIA laws and guidelines
Job Requirements
- Full-time availability
- Comfortable and effective working remotely
- Ability to manage multiple FOIA requests simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with legal case management tools (iManage experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling FOIA requests in a legal or government setting
- Strong knowledge of FOIA processes, exemptions, and appeal procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in legal research and document analysis
- Experience with iManage is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Compensation: Salary: Depends on experience
